Oral Surgery

  • Advance resident’s knowledge and/or understanding of implant placement.
  • Gain proficiency in routine and surgical exodontia procedures.
  • Gain exposure to complicated third molar extractions.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat chronic and acute dental abnormalities.
  • Gain exposure to advanced surgical procedures (eg. Sinus lifts, sinus perforation repairs, large tori removal)
  • Gain exposure to the utilization of inhalation sedation under the supervision of Oral Surgery faculty.
  • Differentiate cases which may require specialist referral for definitive treatment.
